The Nursery

A Parents Handbook is provided upon enrolling the child, outlining the policies and procedures for each family.

All children have a ‘Progress Report’, which tracks their development and interests through observations and provides families with an insight into their child’s progress. Families are encouraged to contribute through observations of their child at home.

Two concerts are held throughout the year where parents are welcome to enjoy the achievements of the children.

The nursery has a designated Special educational needs co-ordinator, supporting children, families and their key workers to ensure children who may have additional needs are receiving suitable support. This may come through activities, equipment or the involvement of specialist agencies.

St. Paula believes children have a right to feel safe at all times. All our staff receive strict police checks, and the senior member of staff is responsible for overseeing the company’s Child Protection policy.
